Work
Systems I’ve built, the products we run, and smaller sites.
Systems
KEY Beneficiary Tracker
2021–2023
USAID Empowered Youth, Michigan State University
For USAID’s Kenya Employment for Youth (KEY) programme, I designed and built the tracker that staff in six counties used to register, follow and report on more than 300,000 young people in real time. Data pipelines behind it cleaned and checked field data before it reached the dashboards USAID and management reported from.
YALI Expo platform
2023–2025
USAID YALI Legacy Localization Initiative, Arizona State University
I built the application platform for the YALI Trade Expo in Cape Town, which took more than 100,000 applications from across Africa, and the monitoring system shared by regional centres in Kenya, Ghana, Senegal and South Africa.
Tikobaze
2022–present
Violet Techies
Our ticketing platform, used by more than 500 organisers and 10,000 ticket buyers in Kenya. Buyers pay with M-Pesa, organisers run events and get paid from their phones, and gate staff scan tickets with a dedicated app.
Point of sale and ERP
2025–present
Violet Techies clients
Tills and stock systems for Nakuru Tubers, Delightful, Umati Health Store, Nyumbani, Naku-Eat, LACASA 58 Wines & Spirits, ADOC and Wakulima. The cashier apps keep selling offline and sync when the connection returns, customers pay with M-Pesa, and at Nakuru Tubers each day’s sales flow straight into the company’s ERP.
TAGDev Connect
2025
TAGDev Programme 2.0, Egerton University
A command centre where administrators and partners track programme outcomes, a field app that lets officers record farms and trees with GPS and photos even without signal, and an app that gives young people in the programme a digital ID and a job board. A public site shows the programme’s impact live.
Digifarm ERP
2021–2022
Digifarm, Safaricom
An ERP for Safaricom’s agricultural lending platform in Nakuru and Kericho, serving more than 20,000 farmers. Farmers, field staff and operations each had their own view of loans, farm inputs and produce, and payroll ran automatically.
Glonax Platform
2026
Glonax Holdings
One platform, behind a single login, for two businesses: hospitality staffing, with recruitment, shift scheduling and location-checked attendance, and rent collection built around M-Pesa.
Event Stay Africa
A booking platform for people travelling to events in Africa. Flights, stays, transfers, experiences and travel cover are booked as one trip and paid as one amount.
Egerton University
A booking site where schools and colleges apply for guided learning tours of the university, with fees estimated per student and paid later. Alongside it, a timetabling platform for the Directorate of Examinations that brings course and exam data into one place.
Egerton University
The official university app, giving students, staff and visitors campus navigation, portal access, news and emergency contacts in one place.
